Overview

Leagues PVP is a real-time 1v1 card battle system. Build a deck of 3 NFT cards, choose your actions each round, and KO all 3 of your opponent's cards to win.

Deck Building

Your Deck

Select exactly 3 NFT cards from your wallet. Each card has Attack (ATK), Defense (DEF), and Health (HP) stats. Your first card is the active fighter — when it's KO'd (HP reaches 0), the next alive card automatically swaps in.

Card Selection & Targeting

During battle, you can click your own cards to choose which one attacks, and click opponent cards to choose your target. If you don't select manually, your active card attacks the opponent's active card by default.

Catalysts

Optionally equip one Catalyst NFT for a team-wide stat boost:

If a Catalyst-type card is in your deck, the boost increases to +40% (Amplify passive).

Boost Potions

Purchase consumable potions for +10% to one stat, lasting 1 match. They're consumed when the match starts — even if you lose.

Combat Actions

Each round, both players secretly choose an action. All three actions have different multipliers that affect how much damage you deal and take.

Strike
ATK: 1.0x DEF: 1.0x DMG Taken: 1.0x

Balanced — no bonus, no penalty. Reliable choice every round.

Guard
ATK: 0.3x DEF: 2.0x DMG Taken: 0.5x

Defensive wall. Your attack is greatly reduced, but you double your defense and take only half damage.

Surge
ATK: 1.5x DEF: 0.6x DMG Taken: 1.3x

All-in attack. Massive damage output, but your defense drops and you take 30% more damage.

You have 30 seconds per turn. If time runs out, Strike is auto-selected and you take a 10% HP penalty. The timer pauses during confidence raises.

Mana & Specials

Mana Pool

Your team shares a single mana pool. Every action — Strike, Guard, Surge, or Special — costs mana based on your active card's rarity. Mana regenerates continuously over time, like an energy bar.

Higher rarity cards are more powerful but cost more mana per action.

Exhausted State

If you can't afford the mana cost for your action, the card still fights but in an exhausted state:

Special Abilities

Each card has a unique special ability determined by its rarity and dominant stat (highest of ATK/DEF/HP). Specials use the Special action in combat and cost extra mana on top of the base action cost. All specials effectively cost 3 MP total regardless of rarity.

Immune specials (Aegis, Absolute Defense) reduce incoming damage by 90% — not full immunity. Counterplay is always possible.

Damage Formula

Damage each round is calculated as:

Damage = max(ATK × 5%, (ATK × atkMult − DEF × defMult × 0.5) × dmgTaken)

In plain English:

  • Your ATK is multiplied by your action's ATK multiplier
  • Their DEF is multiplied by their action's DEF multiplier, then halved
  • The difference is multiplied by their action's damage-taken multiplier
  • Minimum damage is always 5% of your ATK — you can never deal zero

Example

You: Surge (ATK 400 × 1.5 = 600)

Opponent: Guard (DEF 200 × 2.0 × 0.5 = 200)

Raw: (600 − 200) × 0.5 dmgTaken = 200 damage

Arena Modifiers

Each match takes place in a randomly selected arena. The modifier applies equally to both players.

Lightning Field Surge attacks deal +20% damage
Iron Fortress Guard blocks an additional +10% damage
Lifedrain Pit All damage heals attacker for 5%
Momentum Arena First KO grants +50 HP to your next card
Chaos Realm 15% chance your action is randomized
The arena is shown on the VS screen before battle begins. Adapt your strategy!

Rarity Passives

Every rarity tier has a unique passive ability that triggers automatically during battle. You don't need to activate them — they fire when conditions are met.

Rare
Last Stand When below 25% HP, gain +10% ATK. Helps finish fights when on the ropes.
Epic
Second Wind 30% chance to survive a killing blow with 1 HP. Can turn a loss into a comeback.
Legendary
Aura of Power Bench cards (cards 2 and 3) gain +5% to all stats. Strengthens your reserves.
Neapolitan
Lifesteal When you KO an enemy card, heal 15% of the damage dealt. Sustain through long fights.
Catalyst
Amplify If a Catalyst card is in your deck, the Catalyst boost increases from +33% to +40%.

Confidence System

Mid-battle, you can raise the stakes — like poker side-bets. Higher stakes mean bigger leaderboard point rewards for the winner.

Raise Double the current stakes. Goes from 1x to 2x, or 2x to 4x (maximum). Your opponent must respond.
Match Accept the new stakes. The battle continues with the higher multiplier applied to rewards.
Fold Forfeit the match immediately. Your opponent wins at the current stakes level.
At 4x stakes, you earn 4x the leaderboard points for a win. Only raise when you're confident!

Collection Bonuses

Owning more NFTs and special roles provides automatic stat bonuses that apply to all your deck cards. All bonuses stack multiplicatively.

How Depth Bonus Works

If you pick 3 Rare cards for your deck and own 8 Rare NFTs total, you have 5 "extras" (8 - 3). That's 5 × 3% = +15% to all stats on your Rare cards. Maximum bonus is +30%.

Season & Prizes

Seasons run quarterly (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec). At the end of each season, the prize pool is distributed to top players and legends are crowned.
